Photo-gallery of racing on 16th May
Because of an injury, Karen Matthews was on the beach on 16th May rather than jumping at the pointy end of their RS500. She has taken excellent shots of racing action and sent a few to the club website.

Current 2010 Topper league results
The Topper league is regularly updated in the Results page, with a breakdown of points for each helm. Click on the graph to view the details. In the Topper league, helms in blue are competing for the Topper Novice Trophy.

Training days
Two class-specific training days: on 8th May, Tim Ellis from the RYA came to coach 12 Topper helms with great success.
On 15th May, David Trout and Hayley Goacher provided plenty of good advice to Laser sailors.

Increasing adult participation
On 4th and 5th June, we have a very special event coming at LSC. This is aimed at women who would not normally sail or lack confidence. Hermione Garner from the RYA will be starting the event on Friday evening on the 4th June. The evening will be a social allowing Hermione to introduce herself with a meal to follow.
On the following day (Saturday 5th June) there will be coaching session.
The whole point of this is to introduce you to sailing within your comfort zone.
More details will follow later but we would like to get an idea of numbers attending. Could you let the sailing secretary know if you are interested sailingsec@lancingsc.org.uk. This will be a great event but need your attendance to make it successful.

Lancing Sailing Club on Facebook
If you are a member of the social networking website Facebook, you can join the Lancing Sailing Club group. You don't need to be a LSC member to join the group, it's open to everyone. You get invites to parties and social events.
You can also upload your sailing photos for everyone to see. Scroll the list of group members and add them as your friends!
