  • Youth Regatta

Usual weather conditions prevailed for the Youth Regatta: rain, cold and F7 gusts prevented our youth helms to race. Only a couple of enthusiastic Topper helms hopped on their boats for a blast in the waves.

For all outdoors events you're not looking forward to (boring barbecues, have-a-go at playing golf, etc.), ask Stuart. He's done a great job as a race officer so far!

  • A&O Regatta results

The A&O Regatta was raced during the August Bank Holiday weekend. Windy and gusty conditions proved to be hard work for most, but not for the 2 winners, who enjoyed the speed of the sail. See complete results in the Results page.

  • Training session for Laser helms
Despite the strong wind and rain, several Laser enthusiasts came to the club on Saturday afternoon for a training session organised by fleet captain David Trout. Sailing was not on the menu, but there's been a lot of rigging, tuning and racing tips, thanks to Sam Littlejohn. Quite an informative afternoon.
