Originally, the Keith Mynard trophy was awarded to the best improving Streaker sailor of the year. With fewer Streakers on the water, the trophy has been opened to all fleets.
The Keith Mynard trophy should be awarded to an adult sailor who has shown considerable improvement during the season, without winning a series. After looking at the results for the year, the fleet captains select sailors in each fleet and all the members of the sailing committee allocate points to each name. The sailor with the highest score is awarded the Keith Mynard trophy.
For more details, please ask a fleet captain or any member of the sailing committee who will be happy to help.
