What a great weekend it was! Europe sailors coming from all over the UK and beyond, since we saw 5 Belgian boats coming to show the Brits how it's done. Here are a few emails received after the event. A great thank you to everyone!
|
I just wanted to thank all the people of the Europe Class and Lancing Sailing Club for the warm welcome we got from you. We enjoyed our weekend and came back with good memories.
Tomorrow morning we are leaving very early for the Youth Championship in Italy, so there is no time left to write something on your forum, but many thanks for you all!
Congratulations and I hope to see you back next year...
Mario and Maïté Colombie BEL 21 and BEL 12

Just a thank you to all the club officers and members (and the children!) who gave up their time (and the best weekend of the summer!) for the Europe Nationals. Everyone has been saying what a good weekend it was. Those that missed it have to be sorry.
Hope to see you all again some time.
Richard Eagleton, Chairman of Europe class association UK

Just wanted to thank you for all the time and hard work that you put in to the Nationals - despite what you may think, I did thoroughly enjoy myself...! I hope we'll be back sometime in the future.
Jane Stevens, Europe training coordinator
